5/07 –
Flooding in Oklahoma continues
with streams and creeks at all times highs including our lake. Lake Raymond Gary has been
returning to normal faster than the larger lakes though.
1/19/07 – Lake levels have been considerably higher after all of the rain
here and further to the north causing more water to flow through Gates Creek
into the lake and also from the run-off of the watershed. Levels were pretty much back to “normal” yesterday. New houses are going up in THE POINT. It’s wonderful to see people make their
home here around Lake Raymond Gary. Call me
or email me if you have info or news that you want to post here.
10/24/06 – Recent
rains and cooler weather have really brought out the beautiful colors at the
lake. Those should continue to develop
for the next few weeks. I will get
some new pics uploaded soon with those fantastic
scenes.
9/23/06 – The Raymond Gary Lake Association
held their annual fall meeting at the pavilion in the park. Officers and board members were elected for
the new year.
Randy Horn is the newly elected president of the association,
replacing Al Alexander. Carolyn Thomas
was elected secretary, replacing Mozelle
Alexander. It’s time to pay your dues
for 07. Those can be sent to the
secretary, Carolyn Thomas at “Raymond Gary Lake Association, P O BOX 214, Fort
Towson, OK 74735”.
9/3/06 – Update on the lake. Further paving has taken place this summer
around the west side of the lake. Some
of our long time residents have moved, Jay Bee &
Paula Burner have left Raymond Gary to reside in Arizona. We have welcomed several new property
owners as we have sold over 30
properties around the lake during the last 9 months. New homes are going up
in The Point, new owners have been welcomed in The Point, Holiday Lake
Estates, George Caldwell Addition, South Shore Acres East, and in the Pauline
Bailey Survey Addition on the Peninsula.
The park is looking great and we are thankful for the great job that
the guys are doing over there. Fish
are biting! The swimming is still good and the weather is wonderful. High of 85 yesterday.

film. She switched to her digital
camera and wound up taking 160 children’s pictures!!
